RORY MCILROY WINS WELLS FARGO CHAMPIONSHIP

DOUG BARRON TAKES REGIONS TRADITION

McIlroy won the Wells Fargo Championship for a record fourth time with a dominating Sunday performance.  He was four strokes behind Xander Schauffele after two rounds but won the event by five strokes with a six under par final round.

Rory's win was worth $3,600,000 for the following seven contestants who picked him for this event:

Doug Barron won the Regions Tradition on the Seniors Tour and none of our U-PICK-EM players picked him.  Our best picks for this event were by the following ten players who picked Steven Alker.  His second place finish was worth $228,000 for those who picked him.

There were several changes at the top of the U-PICK-EM leaderboard.  Bruce Veltre of Sterling VA is now in first place with Steve Weed of Blaine MN in second.  Patricia Johnson of Gig Harbor WA is now in third place.

U-PICK-EM ANNOUNCES 2024 CONTEST PAYOUTS

Traditionally the U-PICK-EM Contest has sent winner payout checks to the top 10% of the finishers at the end of each contest year.  In recent years we had more than 300 people playing so our payouts went to the top thirty finishers.  This year, however, we have only 177 people playing so we will pay only the top twenty finishers.

Following is the accounting of total entry fees, contest expenses, and the payout total:
